System Administrator

My client is on the market for a senior DevOps Engineer to come and join their dynamic & innovate team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to create high-quality infrastructure and automation code that follows organisational standards.
•  Develop and execute infrastructure documents, automated scripts, and configuration profiles with the help of project teams.
• Manage source code efficiently and automate the process of packaging and deployment through different environments as per CD principles.
• Contribute to the development of dashboards and metrics to monitor the effectiveness of infrastructure and DevOps practices.
• Work with infrastructure team members to implement new or improve existing methodologies.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in service management, networking, and infrastructure.
• Proficient in writing scripts and code using various open-source technologies, including Infrastructure as Code scripting languages like CloudFormation.
• Expertise in coding in multiple DevOps-focused languages, such as Python, Shell, Node, etc.
• Familiarity with advanced CICD stacks built with tools like Puppet, Terraform, and Bamboo, with a preference for experience migrating these stacks to modern tools like AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.
• Working knowledge of an AWS cloud DevOps environment, including VPC, EC2, ALB/NLB, Lambda, etc.
• Understanding of AWS Security components, including WAF, Shield, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
• Experience migrating legacy EC2 workloads to Serverless and AWS FarGate (or Container technology) is a plus.
